We want people who enjoy sharing their opinion, are open to new ideas, and trying new products. If you often have ideas on ways to improve things, we want to talk to you!

Welcome to Bright Point Research! Join our panel and be the voice behind tomorrow’s innovations.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for the opportunity to be part of the research session yesterday. I genuinely learned so much from the experience, and I had an absolute ball interacting with everyone at the conference. It was incredibly engaging to hear different perspectives and be part of such a thoughtful and well-run discussion. I really appreciate you including me, and I would love to be involved in similar opportunities in the future if anything comes up.

Completely confidential! Market and Social Research companies are bound by the Privacy Act, and there are severe penalties for breaching your privacy. Although surveys are likely to ask personal questions such as your age category or your income, research companies are only allowed to keep and use this data as overall statistics, and once their quality control checks are complete they delete the information that associates the statistics with individual respondents. We know it can be disappointing. Most screeners are very specific, and even small details can affect eligibility. We keep questionnaires short to respect your time. To help, please keep your profile fully completed and updated, and respond promptly when you receive a questionnaire – it gives you the best chance of being selected and helps us send you more relevant opportunities.

Yes. You can contact our market research associations. The Research Society and ADIA (Australian Data and Insights Association) both have websites and contact details where you can verify our organisation.

Participating in
Market Research

Participation is completely voluntary, but most surveys are short, interesting, and potentially qualify you for the research project.

Taking part in research is a great way to have your say – and be thanked for your time. You can expect to:

  • Share your opinions on topics you don’t usually get asked about
  • Learn and reflect on products, services and experiences in everyday life
  • Help improve decisions made by organisations and communities
  • Contribute to better services and outcomes, including public policy and community initiatives
  • Receive an incentive as a thank-you for your time and participation

Yes, you can choose to just receive invitations for online surveys and/or discussion groups/interviews in your Settings Menu in your personal account area. Should you Opt Out of both, then your account will become inactive until you choose to opt back in.

It varies. Most members receive a few invitations each month, but it depends on what projects we’re running and whether your profile matches the criteria. Some weeks you might receive a couple of invitations, and other times you may hear from us less often. Keeping your profile complete and up to date helps us send you opportunities that are more relevant to you.

We contact panel members in a few ways, depending on the project:

  • Email is our main way of sending invitations and survey links.
  • For all bookings, we’ll usually phone you to confirm eligibility and check availability.
  • We may also use SMS to follow up if we can’t reach you by phone, and to send booking confirmations and reminders once you’re scheduled.

You can opt out of email, phone or SMS at any time. Please note that email is our primary contact method, so opting out of emails may mean you won’t receive invitations until you opt back in.

All incentives are paid via eGift Card, using GiftPay. From time to time, clients prefer to pay you the incentives themselves and we will advise you of this at the time.
